Dusk to Dawn Professional Pet Sitters provide loving pet care, in YOUR home.
When pet owners have to leave home for a vacation, for a business trip or for any other reason, they face some interesting options for pet care while they are gone.
Dusk-to-Dawn Professional Pet Sitting Service provides an excellent alternative to pet boarding and to relying upon friends and neighbors for these important services: in-home pet service and care.
- Traditional Pet Sitting Visits
- Dog Walking Services
In home pet care is a wonderful (veterinarian-recommended) alternative to boarding your animals. By staying in their own familiar environment, your pets' stress level is reduced, as is yours, as well.
Prior to our first pet-sitting appointment, we will arrange to meet you and your pets for an initial consultation. You will have the opportunity to meet us, ask questions, and go over the details of the services needed. There is no cost for this consultation, and it gives you and your pet a chance to get to know us before services begin. (Additional consultation visits will be charged at $15 per visit.) We will provide you with references so that you can feel confident in knowing you have hired a professional. Your pets will be in responsible, caring hands.
You may have us visit one or more times a day.
Each visit is 30 minutes in length, and the services provided includes all of the listed pet and house sitting services.

I started my business in April of 1996. At this time, my database has 450 names in it.
Once we have done the initial interview and completed all our paperwork, we are usually good to go on fairly short notice. That doesn’t mean advance notice is not appreciated, but we understand that life can throw you a curveball every once in a while.
At this time, there are seven sitters. Yes, we try to keep this as consistent as possible. We like for your pet to get to know the sitter and feel comfortable with this person. However, we have been known to alternate sitters depending on their availability and the time of year.
We ask that you give us a call when you are home safe and sound so that we know your animals are taken care of. With weather related delays, etc., we just feel more comfortable knowing you are home to care for your pet. We will keep visiting until we know you are home, as a safety measure.
All our contractors are screened and references checked. They are also covered under my insurance policy and are bonded under Dusk to Dawn. I am also happy to provide you with each contractor’s own individual references from previous clients.
No, the fee of $22 pays for a thirty minute visit, regardless of how many animals there are. However, if thirty minutes is not enough time for us to do all that you have asked for, we will discuss this with you.
I store the keys in locked key box. They are coded with numbers to match the names in the database, so no names are attached to the keys.
We have clients who hide the key somewhere on their property and let us know where to locate it.
Absolutely!
